Ticket/Admissions Disclaimer: 
Tickets a revocable license which may be withdrawn, and admission refused anytime at managements discretion upon refunding the printed purchase price and subject to revocation with denial of admission or removal from the facility, without compensation, should the holder act in a disorderly manner or violate management’s rules or regulations.  Resale or attempted resale is grounds for seizure or cancellation without refund or other compensation.  The holder of the ticket is admitted on condition and by using this ticket agrees they will not transmit or aid in transmitting any description, account, picture, or reproduction of the event to which this ticket admits home.  Ticket may not be used for advertising, promotion to other trade purposes with the express written consent of management. Breach of the foregoing will automatically terminate this ticket.  The holder grants permission and its agents to utilize the holders’ image or likeness incidental to any live or recorded video display or other transmission or reproduction in whole or in part of the event to which this ticket admits him. THE HOLDER OF THE TICKET VOLUNATRILY ASSUMES ALL RISK AND DANGER of personal injury and all arising from related in any way to the event for which this is issued, whether occurring prior to, during, or after the event.

Do you open when it rains?

Can I leave the festival and return on the same day?

Accepted Answer

Once you have purchased your tickets and entered the festival, you may leave and return on the same day only. You must get a hand stamp to leave and return.

Can I take photos, videos, or audio recordings of the show?"

Ky. Renaissance Fair, LLC does allow camera’s and recorders for photos and videos.

PHOTO RELEASE:  The named person(s) does hereby give consent to the Kentucky Renaissance Fair, LLC and its assignees to take photographs, make audio recordings and/or videos of the named person(s) and their representatives at the Kentucky Renaissance Fair, LLC event and to use such photographs, audio recordings and/or videos for such promotion or other lawful purpose and the Kentucky Renaissance Fair, LLC deem appropriate. The named person(s) further waive any rights or claims as to content approval or damages that may arise from the use of such photographs, audio recordings and/or video.

Can you bring in outside food or drinks?

No Outside Food or Drinks.

Note:  You can bring a sealed bottle of water or Gatorade and personal water bottles/jugs are allowed, they will be checked at security upon arrival.   We do have a water fountain available onsite.

No OUTSIDE ALCOHOL can be brought on the festival site.

Do you allow pets?

No, Kentucky Renaissance Fair, LLC has a NO PET POLICY.

What is the “Coin of the Realm”? (Highland Renaissance Festival ONLY)

Accepted Answer

“Coin of the Realm” is our own in-house currency system.
These are large wooden coins with a logo and value of the coin on them.
Coin of the Realm can be purchased at the Coin Booth located by Mikaela’s Inn. 
Coin of the Realm can be used for Food, Drinks & Games. 
Merchants/Vendors do not generally accept Coin of the Realm.
Purchased Coin of the Realm is non-refundable, but re-useable each year at the Renaissance Festival. The Coin of the Realm comes in $1.00 or $5.00 coins.

Yes, Kentucky Renaissance Fair, LLC does accept all major credit cards for tickets, food and drink.

We do have a $10.00 minimum on all credit card purchases.

Do you have an ATM?

Yes. We do have two ATM machines on site.

One located in the Souvenir Shop/Bakery at the front entrance.
One located next to Mikaela's Inn, between the side windows of Hoodoos Pub & Food Window

Can you dress up? Sword Policy?

Accepted Answer

Yes!  You can definitely dress up!  (It is not required)

If you are carrying a sword, it must be sheathed & peace tied.  All swords are checked at the gate.
